Clinics and Services
Our Practice Nurses are all Registered General Nurses. They provide specialist services directly to patients including advice and support and review on asthma, COPD, cervical cytology screening, diabetes, childhood vaccinations and immunisations, travel health, diet, men’s and women’s health and family planning and physical reviews for those with other long-term health problems. They are responsible for collecting specimens to help us investigate illness and monitor ongoing treatment and recovery.
We also offer the service for NHS health checks these are run for patients aged between 40 and 74, these can help you by assessing your risk of developing health problems such as heart disease, stroke, diabetes, kidney disease and some forms of dementia. The nurse then gives you personalised advice on how to reduce this risk.
Our nursing team is generally available between 08:30 - 18:00 Monday to Friday.
